Take the best hands-on web design and development workshops in the Bay Area.

During these two-day workshops, Joseph Silvashy, Eric Saxby and Richard Millan will demonstrate professional techniques, and help you gain a deeper understanding of designing and building websites and applications from start to finish.

All of our workshops are two days! By design, this is best way to not only learn new concepts and practice them, but to retain and use after the workshop. On the first day we’ll look at specific concepts and issues designers and developers face regularly. We’ll examine each issue and show how to pragmatically solve each. On the second day we’ll apply the concepts to our own projects with one-on-one help and more. Each workshop series ends with a social mixer where you’ll meet expert web designers and developers.

A great learning environment.

All of our workshops are held at our studio in San Francisco, we cater the meals from great restaurants (or sometime even grill out!) and provide refreshments each day. You’ll leave each workshop with practical usable skills, a kit of all our favorite tools, designs, and all the slides from our talks.

We base the agenda of each workshop on a structured format. Each section will have plenty of opportunities to chat about the concepts and pose questions and situations to the speaker and other “workshop goers”.

Meet other designers and developers.

We concluded each workshop series with a meet and greet at one of our favorite bars or restaurants, we’ll mingle with well known web professionals and other dot-comrades. We’ll introduce our workshop goers to developers and designers from agencies and prominent development firms and hopefully provide great opportunities to everyone.
